Morning

i Awake, my soul, and with the sun
ii Glory to thee, who safe hast kept
Brightly, O Father, when morning is breaking
Christ, whose glory fills the skies
Every morning mercies new
My God, I praise thee for the light returning
New every morning is the love
Now morning lifts her dewy veil
Now that the daylight fills the sky
Now when the dusky shades of night retreating
Now with the rising golden dawn
O Jesus, Lord of heavenly grace
Once again to meet the day
Once more the daylight shines abroad

Mid-Day

Almighty Ruler, God of truth
See the sun high heaven ascending
Thy love for all thy creatures
When at midday my task I ply

Afternoon

As now the sun's declining rays
Before the ending of the day
Behold the sun, that seemed but now
O God, unchangeable and true
The radiant morn hath passed away

Evening

Abide with me; fast falls the eventide
Again, as evening's shadow falls
Almighty God, thy throne above
At even, ere the sun was set
Creator of the light supreme
Ere the waning light decay
Father, by thy love and power
Glory be to thee, my God, this night
God, that madest earth and heaven
Hear our prayer, O heavenly Father
Heavenly Father, by whose care
Holy Father, cheer our way
Lord of my life, whose tender care
Now God be with us
Now sinks in night the flaming sun
O Brightness of the immortal Father's face
O God of all the strength and power
O Lord, who by thy presence hast made light
O Savior, bless us ere we go
Savior, again to thy dear name we raise
Savior, breathe an evening blessing
Source of light and life divine
Sun of my soul, thou Savior dear
The day departs
The day is gently sinking to a close
The day is past and over
The day, O Lord, is spent
The shadows of the evening hours
The sun is sinking fast
Through the changes of the day
Through the day thy love has spared us
When evening shadows gather

Morning or Evening

As every day thy mercy spares
Star of morn and even
Sweet is the morning light to me

Midnight

Glory to thee, in light arrayed

Sunday

As thou didst rest, O Father
Hail, holy rest, calm herald of that day

O day of rest and gladness
On this, the holiest and best

Hymns on the Creation

When o'er the waters' misty deep
The earth in robes of light arrayed

My faith looks up to thee
My God, how endless is thy love
My God, my Father, while I stray
My Savior, can it ever be
Nearer, my God, to thee
Nearer, O God, to thee! Hear thou my prayer
No change of time shall ever shock
No sorrow and no sighing
Not by the martyr's death alone
Not unto us, almighty Lord
Now thank we all our God
O blessed life, the heart at rest
O Christ, the Light of heavenly day
O Christ, who dost prepare a place
O come, loud anthems let us sing
O death, thou art no more
O for a heart to praise my God

O God of hosts, the mighty Lord
O God, our help in ages past
O God, thou art my God alone
O God, thy grace and blessing give
O God with us, the Savior
O happy band of pilgrims
O help us, Lord! each hour of need
O highest Love, in lowliest guise
O Holy Ghost, thou God of peace
O holy Lord, content to dwell
O Holy Savior, Friend unseen
O how long, how long?
O Jesus, I have promised
O Jesus, King most wonderful
O King of kings, before whose throne
O Light, whose beams illumine all
O Lord, how happy should we be
O Lord, how joyful 'tis to see
O Lord, in all our trials here
O Lord, thy heavenly grace impart
O love, how deep, how broad, how high
O my people, O mine own
O my Savior, lifted
O praise ye the Lord! praise him in the height
O Savior, holy Savior
O Savior, is thy promise fled
O Savior, now at God's right hand
O strength and stay upholding all creation
O thou, from whom all goodness flows
O thou, the contrite sinners' Friend
O thou to whose all-searching sight
O thou who dwell'st in realms of light
* O what their joy and their glory must be
O where shall rest be found
O worship the King all glorious above
O let him whose sorrow
Oft in danger, oft in woe
Omniscient God, thine eye divine
Once, only once, and once for all
Our blest Redeemer, ere he breathed
Praise, my soul, the King of heaven
Praise the Lord, ye heavens, adore him
Praise the Rock of our salvation
Praise to God, immortal praise
Praise to the Holiest in the height
Quiet, Lord, my froward heart
Rejoice, the Lord is King
Rest in the Lord, rest, weary heart
Rock of ages, cleft for me
Round the Lord in glory seated
Savior, blessed Savior
Savior, when in dust to thee
Sinful, sighing to be blest
Sing alleluia forth in duteous praise
Sing praise to God who reigns above
Sing to the Lord a joyful song
Sing we the song of those who stand
Soldiers of Christ, arise
Soldiers who to Christ belong
Songs of praise the angels sang
* Son of Man, to thee I cry
Soon and for ever
Stars of the morning, so gloriously bright
Still will we trust, though earth seem dark
Take up thy cross, the Savior said
Teach me, O Lord, thy holy way
Thanks be to God, for meet and right
That day of wrath, that dreadful day
The Church's one foundation
The God of Abraham praise
The God of love my Shepherd is
The head that once was crowned with thorns
The heaven of heavens cannot contain
The Lord of might from Sinai's brow
The roseate hues of early dawn
The saints on earth and those above
The strain upraise of joy and praise
i The world is very evil
ii Brief life is here our portion
iii For thee, O dear, dear country
iv Jerusalem the golden
Thee, O God, alone I love
There is a book, who runs may read
There is a land of pure delight
There is no night in heaven
They come, God's messengers of love
Thine for ever! God of love
Thou art the way: to thee alone
Thou boundless source of every good
Thou who on that wondrous journey
Thou, whose almighty word
Through all the changing scenes of life
Through the night of doubt and sorrow
Thy life was given for me
Thy way, not mine, O Lord
Tis for conquering kings to gain
Toiling in the path of duty
To me a sinner, chief of all
To thee, O God, our praise belongs
To thy temple I repair
Triumphant Lord, thy work is done
Try us, O God, and search the ground
We all had sinned and gone astray
We saw thee not when, far away
We sing the praise of him who died
What are these in bright array?
What care the saints of God, if they
When all thy mercies, O my God
When gathering clouds around I view
When Jesus came to earth of old
When my love to Christ grows weak
When our heads are bowed with woe
When the dark waves round us roll
Where'er have trod thy sacred feet
Where high the heavenly temple stands
While the sun is shining
Who is this, so weak and helpless
Who the multitude can number
Why art thou weary, O my soul
With glory clad, with strength arrayed
Work is sweet, for God has blessed
Ye boundless realms of joy
Ye holy angels bright
Ye servants of God, your Master proclaim
Ye servants of the Lord
Yes, God is good
